Heldentoren SALT

Summer newspaper for the new Heldentoren in Heist

Introducing an icon

Project developer SALT was looking for a way to introduce their grand new project in Heist to the residents. Together with The List, we presented a summer city newspaper that was distributed in the best bars, restaurants and shops in Knokke and Heist. The perfect way to introduce people to a prestigious and iconic project at their own pace – long before construction started.

Experiencing a building

Who would live in Heldentoren? What would tickle their interests? What makes them happy? Where do they gather and what places do they visit? These are the kinds of questions we tried to answer – and then to translate those answers into newspaper topics. We also introduced the Heldentoren building, interviewed its famous architect Willem Jan Neutelings (Neutelings Riedijk Architects) and let the project developers talk about their love for design, architecture and the sea. From the latest shopping experiences in Knokke to the finest restaurants in Heist, from design popups to architectural inspiration: we had it covered.

Win-win communication

An ambitious building project always comes with an impact on the urban fabric and the people living in it. That is why it’s a great idea to take the lead in the communication and to set the tone for a broader story: project development is not about concrete, building sites and nuisance – but about living beautifully, a lively city and sustainable architecture. By communicating early on, you can build a lot of goodwill, which later translates into fewer problems with the neighbourhood and earlier interest from buyers. Win-win, right?

Also need some extra goodwill?
