Stadsterras
Living freely in the greenest residential project of Mortsel.
The question
As the permit process went smoother than expected, project developer Ciril was suddenly able to start communicating about their new housing project Stadsterras a lot sooner than planned. To be able to do so, they asked us if we could kick-off the marketing campaign as soon as possible. Developing a logo, brand identity, style, campaign and teaser website in only three weeks? We were in!
The sparks
We got a full picture of the project through interviews with the developers, the city and the architects. We also explored and researched Mortsel and the Oude-God neighbourhood, to be able to determine the unique advantages for new residents, but also what the pros – and possible cons – could be for the neighbourhood. After all, restoring an old school site and transforming it into a new residential area with six new added buildings, comes with specific challenges.
Stadsterras breathes new life into the Oude-God neighbourhood in the centre of Mortsel, a well-known area with a rich history. The unique character of this location plays an important role in the development. The historic Sint-Lutgardis school will be completely renovated, reclaiming its former glory and determining the feel of the entire new neighbourhood. The six new buildings are designed in harmony with their surroundings, each with an own recognizable identity.
The result
Stadsterras combines the advantages of the city with spacious, green views – looking over a big park full of breathing space, room to move and room to grow. A feeling of freedom and possibilities that we emphasize in the tagline “Freedom in park & city” and bring to life in a fresh, green and dynamic style full of breathing space. Just as a terrace connects the garden with the house, Stadsterras (“City Terrace”) bridges the gap between the park and the city and between past and future.
Our campaign also refers to the Oude God (“Old God”) neighbourhood and emphasizes the green feel of the development: in Stadsterras you can live like a God in the greenest residential project of Mortsel. Eye-catching billboards guide interested leads to a teaser website, where they can discover all the perks of living in Stadsterras, explore 3D visualisations of the project and leave their email address to stay up to date of the project’s progress. In only three weeks, we presented Ciril a brand-new brand that perfectly positioned Stadsterras for their target group in Mortsel – quickly resulting in hundreds of interested leads.
