800 employees on the move - literally and figuratively!

Democo Group brand alive and kicking

Democo Group consists of eight different companies. Based on the philosophy that these companies are “All experts and stronger together”, they decided to focus more on collaboration across entity borders, with an overarching rebranding in which each of the eight companies adopted the same brand mark and logo system.

Apart from the outside world launch, we were also asked to involve their 800 employees in this new step. We did this with a broad campaign that tangibly highlighted the “why” of the rebranding: they are stronger together – and flying the same flag to prove it.

Brand activation on the road

We organized a corporate roadshow and sent the executives to the various company locations, armed with marketing material in the new corporate style; from flags, cups and pens, to site banners and templates. They introduced the new strategic lines and look using a digital style guide and a new corporate presentation.

Each employee also received a branded water bottle in the shape of a sports weight. The bottle was accompanied by an instruction for a short strength exercise called “Stronger together in one minute”. Employees were encouraged to work with their colleagues to perform the exercises and exchange instruction cards. A simple, but clear message: those who work together get stronger!

From employees to ambassadors

A clear identity can help the purposefulness and cohesion within a company. It is important that employees know what they are doing and why they are doing it. To make them familiar with the company’s mission and values – so they can further build on your brand and story. We helped many of our customers by flaming their internal story and ensuring that they continue to ignite their staff’s enthusiasm.
